Project Description

In the village of Sa’adneyel in the Bekaa valley – a beautiful and fruitful area of Lebanon offering various opportunities for cultivation and agriculture – in 2018 we are starting up our next learning garden project.

This project is truly unique, as Zaher is renting a field of land by our local partner, the NGO Buzurna Juzurna and Graines et Cinéma in order to have a learning garden for children and youth next to the land fields of Buzurna Juzurna. Buzurna Juzurna will throughout the season conduct weekly workshops at the site for children and youth lacking educational opportunities in the area around. More to follow on this newest project – stay tuned!

To make the gardens alive, we need your support. Gardening doesn’t cost a lot – which is why your donation, big or small, can be a turning point for the establishment of more learning gardens. Any kind donation makes a huge difference for our ability to let more gardens come alive in Lebanon. We are a small organization, running 100% non-profit and by volunteering efforts only. Donations will go directly to the projects.
