Zaher was co-founded in 2016 by Sofie Bervild Nielsen and Iben von Holck in Lebanon.
The core of the project is collaboration with a number of actors in Lebanon.
Zaher is fortunate to have many committed and skilled volunteers from both Denmark, Lebanon and other countries, always pushing the project forward, bringing new ideas and ensuring the ongoing development of our organization.
If you would like to be part of our work, we would love to hear from you.

To make the gardens flourish, we need your support. Gardening doesn’t cost a lot – which is why your donation, regardless of the amount, can be a turning point for the creation of more learning gardens. Any donation makes a huge difference for our ability to let more gardens bloom in Lebanon. Zaher is a small organization, running 100% non-profit in Denmark due to volunteering efforts only. Thus, all donations will go directly to the learning garden projects.
